Digestive system
digestive system: to convert food into small and tiny macromolecules that can be absorbed into the                bloodstream and used as energy so your body use it.

Mouth
Mouth: The place where digestion begins. The breaking of food and putting saliva on the food. Saliva is a chemical that mixes the food making it easier to swallow and start chemical digestion.
Pharynx
Pharynx: The back of your mouth the between teeth and the esophagus. The food passes into the pharynx. Food goes down one tube the esophagus and air goes down the other the trachea. The epiglottis is the small flap tissue that closes the when you swallowing your food.
Esophagus
Esophagus: It is a passage carriers the food from the mouth to the stomach.
Stomach
Stomach: Main function of the stomach is the it lets out acid to breakdown food then after it is broke com it is mixed with gastric juices. It is crushed up by muscle contraction in mechanical digestion. Has a mixture of chemicals to help digest. (HCI) the food has a new name after it leaves the stomach it is called Chyme.
Small intestine
The small intestine: is the spot for the most chemical digestion and the site of most energy and nutrients absorption. Chyme passes from the stomach to the small intestine.
Large intestine
Large Intestine: Is the place where water is removed from the broken down food and it get the remain particles or waste ready to get out of your body. Waste is moved onto the large intestine and eventually the waste goes through the rectum and is removed.
Rectum and anus
Rectum and Anus :Have the job of removing the waste out of your body.
Pancreas
Pancreas makes insulin which regulated the bold and sugar levels, and also help get rid of stomach acids.
Liver
Liver makes bile, bile breaks down fats in foods and moves them to the fat storage.
Gallbladder
Gallbladder it is a organ just like a purse or pouch which stores fats/bile for later body usage.
